Tasman Glacier is the largest of several glaciers that flow south and east towards the Mackenzie Basin from the Southern Alps in New Zealand’s South Island. It’s the longest glacier in New Zealand.
Tasman Glacier terminal lake is striking glacial encounter with a spectacular mountain views and scenery. You’ll be able to see icebergs everywhere; in different shape and sizes by tearing away from the glacier. The best part is, you’re able to touch and taste 300-500 year old glacial crystals!
None of this would have been possible withoutChristchurch & Canterbury NZ! They arranged all of the trips on a complimentary basis! Not to mention a gorgeous hotel – The Hermitage Hotel
