What is it like to eat Scorpions? Let’s find out by watching my video!
All scorpions are venomous? So if the lady will try to convince you, that this one, she is selling is not, she’ s lying. All venom is stored in the “telson”, which is the ending of their tail and as I noticed and as you can see on the pic above, all telsons were removed. When the scorpion attacks you, the venom gets to your body through the sharp sting at the end of the telson, that is removed, as well.

Traveling is not about lying on the beach with your favorite drink. It doesn’t have to mean taking countless pictures of sights, that can easily be found anywhere on the internet. Traveling is something you absorb for your own experience; defined in numerous ways such as eating, relaxing, learning cultures, interacting with locals, etc.
However, what my father and I did is, tasting the infamous dishes, ah edible bugs is one of infamous dishes in Thailand! I want to emphasize that eating different kinds of bugs and insects is indeed must, although it is not traditional thai.
You can easily find edible bugs on the Khao San Road. Khao San Road is probably the most famous spot for international backpackers meet-up or party in entire Bangkok. Everything is literally allowed. This is the place you can stay up all night. You can drink cheap beer, have some massages or fun with your friends. Khao San Road is also the best place to eat bugs in whole Bangkok.
You’ll see some people with car selling different kinds of insects and bugs, like scorpions, worms, spiders, grasshoppers, or cockroaches. There are way more than what I mentioned. You can have whatever you want and all bugs & insects are safe to eat.
They all are deep fried with soy sauce on them!
