After a long day of exploring the beauty of Georgetown, the next day was totally fresh for Dalton and me! This local dude jumped and went, “Penang Hill!” when we asked what else is Penang well known for.

(Penang Hill or affectingly known by locals as “Bukit Bendara”)

We chuckled, “We’ve been to many parks or hills, so what’s so special about it?”

He shook his head, “Penang Hill is where you get to enjoy hiking, sightseeing, exploring through the jungle where you will see many exotic flowers and monkeys, and once you reach the summit you’ll see how beautiful it really is. Take a cool train going down to the bottom afterward. Go there!”

We told ourselves before we started traveling, “We should always take local’s advice.” Hence the reason we were quick to agree to check it out.

On the way, our local friend stopped by and suggested us to take a short walk at the beach if we want to take some beautiful pictures before we go to the Penang Hill. We didn’t catch the name of the beach, but we thought it would be fun checking out the beach. Pretty much most of the time when we heard of any beach that had been recommended to check, we would visit the beach in a heartbeat. It was important for us to witness all beaches over the world, so we could compare which had the best beach! Our friend told us that he would meet us in the city later after we were finished with hiking upon the Penang Hill. Off we go to the beach!
