Rapallo, Italy: The Longest Red Carpet In The World!

From Rapallo to Portofino, a walk of more than eight kilometers between sea and woods!!

The inauguration of the “Pagana” walk way (over 100 years old, never completed), featuring cameras, floral decorations and red carpet, has allowed Liguria to enter the guinnes book of records for longest “red carpet in the world “.

The title first belonged to Germany, it was 5,35 km long at Gera in Germany, but they can not compete with this carpet of eight kilometers (8,332 to be precise) ranging from Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino, without interruption.
